Hi Friends...

This is my last post of this month....A bunch of lovely flowers in coral colour nd one sweet butterfly....!! For this tight coiled 3d flowers I used 1/8"- (3mm) wide strips and also for tht central tiny fringed flowers I used the same 1/8"-wide (3mm) wide strips. yes.. It needs more patience to cut nd roll ...and U know,  ths is the first butterfly Im satisfied with.... After putting a bit of extra effort it turned better...
The finished work is  framed in a 38 x 48 cm deep frame. Watch the close ups nd enjoy...!!

Spectra-Quill.....!!

Hi Friends...

Here I would like to  share my new quilled wall picture ..This is a spectrum with tear drop coils nd tight circled coils. It took me morethan a week to finish...The courtesy for the original design goes to an unknown artist I've copied the design from the web but later I forgot the link. I was planning to recreate it as it is but couldnt reach to tht perfection....I used only 3 mm strips for ths work nd framed
in a 50 x 50 frame....

Quilled flowers with multi strips..

Hi my dear friends,  Wish you a very Happy and successful new year ...!! Hope you all enjoyed your New Year Celebrations...
In this New year I would like to share my another quilled frame work ..... For the flowers I used a multi strip method of  red, yellow nd white 3mm strips. And for the leaves I followed the normal, simple way.  And one another surprise for u friends....Yes...I added new watermark on my creation. For this logo I'm giving full credit to my Justin. Hope you like it and enjoy.....

Rising Owl.. ( Quilled )

Hi friends......Wish you a very happy X-mas ...!!!  It has been more than 3-4 months since posted anything on my little space in the blogworld.  Yes..I've not been blogging, but my creative world was not totally silent. he..he.... You think an adicted quiller like me  can stay idle..??? No way.....!!

So here is my new project ..The rising colourful Owl...!!   I was actually inspired by the design which I got from internet. I should thank the artist who made this fantastic design.  And I would like to thank my husband for getting me the print out and all the quilling paper that I needed. Here I used the pinning method to make it. It took me more than one week to finish. The design was pinned on a cork board and overlayed with a butterpaper.  (The butter paper was used to avoid the work getting sticked to the design.)  Quilled coils were placed and pinned above the design and glued to each other. It was a real struggle to make it's eyes and beak.... despite the struggle the outcome was satisfying.  Material used for this work are 3 mm strips and wood texture wall paper for the background.  The finished work is framed in a wooden frame of 50 X 50 cm with  29 X 29 cm inner work space.  Thats all about the detail...... Hope u like it....

And Yes... my dear friends,  I do appreciate those who visited my blog during my absence and left sweet comments and encouragement..... Thank u so much...
